Method : Pour Crème de Cassis into glass, top up with wine

Kir Royal - replace wine with champagne

Dash Angostura Bitters

Dry Manhattan - omit Bitter add Dry Vermouth and garnish with a slice of lemon
Perfect Manhattan - replace Vermouth with 1 cl dry vermouth and 1 cl Sweet red vermouth

Sweet Martini - replace dry vermouth with sweet red vermouth
Perfect Martini - replace vermouth with 1 cl dry vermouth and 1 cl sweet red vermouth

Method : Stir,straight up or on the rocks

Garnish : Silverskin (pearl) onion

stir in soda water last

N.B. a Tom Collins was made to the same recipe
using "Old Tom" Gin.
However, in some countries it is now common
practise to make a John Collins with Bourbon Whisky
and a Tom Collins with Gin.
